Important meeting of INDIA alliance today, leaders of 14 parties will gather, Mamata sidelines

Mamata Banerjee has distanced herself from the meeting of India Alliance. She will not participate in the virtual meeting to be held today. In this meeting the name of the convenor, alliance/distribution of seats will be discussed. Leaders of 14 parties will participate in this virtual meeting.

There is not much time left for the Lok Sabha elections. India alliance is preparing with full force to compete with BJP. Today i.e. on Saturday, there is India alliance. A problem has arisen before this meeting. The Chief Minister of West Bengal has abstained from this meeting. According to sources, she will not attend the virtual meeting to be held today.

Let us tell you that there will be a meeting of India Alliance today at 11.30 am. Leaders of 14 parties will gather in this meeting through Zoom. In this meeting the name of the convenor, alliance/distribution of seats will be discussed. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh gave this information on social media platform X. He said that the leaders of INDIA alliance will hold a meeting on January 13, 2024 at 11:30 am through Zoom. In this meeting they will discuss seat-sharing, participation in Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra and other important matters.

There is a problem regarding seat sharing

From UP-Bihar to West Bengal, there is a dilemma regarding seat sharing. This meeting has been called to resolve this issue. Mamta Banerjee has refused to attend this meeting. Actually, Mamta is already angry on the issue of seat sharing. Let us tell you that Congress is demanding 8-10 seats in West Bengal, whereas TMC does not want to give more than just two seats to Congress.

Nitish can be made coordinator

At the same time, sources are also telling that in this meeting, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can be made the coordinator of the alliance. Most of the parties of the Indian alliance agree on making Nitish Kumar the coordinator but Mamata is not happy about it. This may be one of the reasons for Mamata not attending the meeting because Mamata has not given any concrete reason for not attending the meeting.

Mamta will be busy in other programs

TMC sources said that no advance information was given regarding Saturday's meeting. Mamta Banerjee will be busy in other programs so she cannot attend this meeting. TMC has said that Mamata cannot change her programmes. Information about this meeting has been given in a very short time.
