Budget 2024 Expectations: What will the government focus on in Budget 2024, Nirmala Sitharaman gave hints

Now only a few days are left for the presentation of the country's budget. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the last budget of the current tenure of the Modi government on 1 February 2024 and before that she has given indications as to where the focus of the government is going to be.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the interim budget on 1 February 2024. According to tradition, there should not be many big announcements in this budget, but this time Nirmala Sitharaman may choose a different path before the elections. Anyway, recently he indicated on which areas the government is going to focus most in the budget.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman interacted with students at Hindu College of Delhi University a few days ago. In his address, he told how after 2014, Modi government implemented the schemes in 'urgency' and 'mission mode' and laid the foundation of developed India. In this speech, he indicated where the government's focus was going to be in the budget.

Government's focus in the budget

In her speech, Nirmala Sitharaman said that her government does not discriminate among people on the basis of caste or religion. Therefore, government schemes have been made in such a way that everyone gets its benefits. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has divided India into only four groups, these are youth, women, farmers and poor. Nirmala has indicated that these 4 groups should be kept in mind at the center of government policies.

Nirmala Sitharaman said, “Youth, women, good farmers who provide us food security and the poor poor who still need government help to rise up. All our policies are made keeping in mind to improve their lives. When these are kept in the center, then you will not need to pay attention to anything else. Neither to see which community he belongs to nor to which religion he belongs. Everyone comes under their ambit.”

Emphasis will be on these sectors of the economy

Not only this, in her speech Nirmala also indicated the segments on which the government is going to focus from the economic point of view. In this, our emphasis is on skill development, better agricultural technology and providing better health services to the citizens of the country.
