Shardiya Navratri has started. People are welcoming Maa Durga with great pomp. Cheers to Maa Durga are being heard everywhere. Today is the first day of Navratri. In such a situation, after establishing the Kalash, Maa Shailputri is being worshipped, which is one of the 9 forms of Maa Durga. It is believed that any devotee who worships Maa Durga with a true heart during the 9 days of Navratri, gets freedom from every trouble and brings happiness and prosperity in the house.

Mother Shailputri, daughter of King Himalaya, got Lord Shiva as her husband after rigorous penance. Many people keep fast for 9 days of Navratri due to which Mother Durga becomes very happy and fulfills all the wishes of the devotees.

Do not make this mistake during the worship of Maa Durga

It is believed that Mother Durga stays on earth for 9 days of Navratri and resides in every house. In such a situation, devotees should pay special attention to the rules related to the worship of Maa Durga, because even a small mistake can displease Maa Durga and your worship may remain incomplete. Know what not to do during puja.

Navratri starts with the installation of Kalash. The coconut used in this should be completely whole and watery. Therefore, the Kalash should be established properly only after examining it properly.

Puja is considered incomplete without the aarti of Maa Durga. In such a situation, after reciting the text and chanting the mantras, do the Aarti of Maa Durga.

Similarly, the Akshat grains used in puja should also be absolutely whole. There should not be any breaks anywhere.

Don't forget to offer Dhatura, Kaner and Madar flowers to Maa Durga. Mata Rani is very fond of red colored hibiscus flowers. In such a situation, the mother will be pleased by offering Gadphal flower during the puja.

During Navratri, prepare different offerings to Mata Rani and do not use garlic and onion for 9 days.
