Tata Nexon Facelift Launch: Tata Motors will launch the facelift version of the popular SUV Nexon and Nexon EV today. Booking of both these upcoming SUVs is already open. Now only the price is left to be announced, which will happen today. Let us see the possible prices of Tata's new SUVs.

Leading auto company Tata Motors has unveiled the facelift version of Nexon and Nexon EV just a few days ago. Now the company is fully ready to launch both these SUVs. Tata Nexon is one of the best selling SUVs in the country. Facelift models of Tata Nexon and Nexon EV will be launched in the Indian market today. Now only the price of both Tata SUVs is yet to be revealed. Customers are also waiting for this to know how much budget has to be prepared.

Tata has introduced the new Nexon in Smart, Smart Plus, Pure Plus, Creative Plus, Fearless and Fearless Plus variants. The names Pure and Creative are already in use for Tata Punch. Bookings for the new Nexon and Nexon EV facelift are already going on. Along with the features of the upcoming SUV, we will also see what its price could be.

Tata Nexon Facelift: Specifications

As before, the new compact SUV will come with the power of 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine and 1.5 liter diesel engine. 5 speed manual, 6 speed manual or 7 speed dual-clutch automatic transmission options can be found in petrol engine. On the other hand, the diesel engine can come with 6 speed manual gearbox or 6 speed AMT.

Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Performance

Tata is now using Gen2 electric motor in Nexon EV. It is also 20 kg light and small. The battery management system (BMS) and liquid cooling system have been improved. The top speed of Tata Nexon EV has increased from 120 km/hr to 150 km/hr. Apart from this, the long range model will cover a distance of 465 km in full charge.

New Nexon SUVs: Expected Price

Tata Motors would like to increase sales with the updated version of Nexon and Nexon EV. There is strong competition in the sub-compact SUV segment, hence maintaining the strong penetration of Nexon is a big challenge for Tata. Well, Tata reigns supreme in the electric segment.

It is believed that the ex-showroom price of the new Nexon can start from around Rs 7.50 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. On the other hand, the ex-showroom price of Tata Nexon EV is expected to start from around Rs 15 lakh, its top model can go up to around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Official prices will be known only during the launch.
