Actually, the name of the personality we are going to talk about is Prakash Chand. Earlier he was serving as Captain in the Indian Army. After retirement, he came to the village and started farming. The special thing is that at present his age is 70 years. Even at this age, he is doing farming by himself. Captain Prakash Chand is a resident of Kaihadru village in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. He is doing gardening even at this age.
Sold seasonal crops worth about Rs 2 lakh
He has a seasonal orchard in his 20 kanal land. From this they are earning lakhs of rupees every year. Former Captain Prakash Chand says that when he came to the village and started gardening, he earned an income of Rs 60 thousand in the second year. At the same time, in the third year he sold seasonal crops worth about Rs 2 lakh. However, this year the garden has suffered a lot due to excessive rain. Again, he also says that this time there will be a profit of Rs 4 lakh.
This has further increased their earnings
Captain Prakash Chand says that he has been doing gardening since the year 2019. He has started gardening under HP Shiva Project. Under HP Project, farmers are provided horticulture training and financial assistance. In such a situation, under HP Shiva Project, he started cultivation of seasonal fruits and pomegranate on 20 kanals of barren land. The special thing is that the former captain is now also growing vegetables in his seasonal and pomegranate orchards. Due to this his earnings have increased further.
