The world's first cricket stadium dedicated to Lord Shiva is going to be built in the world's cultural capital Kashi, situated on Shiva's trident. The theme of the international cricket stadium to be built in Ganjari area of ​​the city will be related to Lord Shiva and Banaras. The dome of the stadium has been given the shape of a damru. The flood lights will be designed on the lines of Trishul. The shape of the entrance will be like the shape of Belpatra.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to lay the foundation stone of Purvanchal's first international cricket stadium on September 23 in Ganjari, Banaras. The capacity of this stadium, built on 30.8 acres, is said to be around 30,000. The state government has acquired this land on which BCCI will build the stadium at a cost of Rs 330 crore. The state government has spent Rs 121 crore on land acquisition.

This will be the third international cricket stadium of UP after Greenpark of Kanpur and Ekana of Lucknow. LNT will start its construction work from the last week of September. The construction work is to be completed in 30 months. The stadium will be ready by December 2025. For this, BCCI will give a fixed amount every year as lease to the state government. After the construction of this unique stadium, another special feature will be added to the many specialties of Kashi.

On September 23, between 11 am and 12 am, PM Modi will also address a public meeting in Banaras. Apart from the cricket stadium, PM Modi will also gift 16 Atal schools built at a cost of Rs 1200 crore. It is being told that PM Modi can also do a road show on the occasion of foundation stone laying ceremony in Varanasi.
