13 sixes-13 fours, Heinrich Klaasen broke AB de Villiers' record, scored 150 runs in the last 58 balls.

South Africa's explosive batsman Heinrich Klaasen created history by scoring a stormy century in the fourth ODI against Australia. Klaasen, who came to bat at number 5, played an innings of 174 runs in 83 balls, in which he hit 13 fours and 13 sixes. In his innings he scored 130 runs only with the help of fours and sixes. This is the fourth century of Klaasen's career.

Klaasen has become the batsman to play the highest innings while batting at number 5 in ODI. In this list, he broke the records of America's Jaskaran Malhotra and compatriot AB de Villiers. Malhotra scored unbeaten 173 runs against PNG in 2021 and de Villiers scored unbeaten 162 runs in 2015.

Let us tell you that in the 32nd over, Klaasen had scored 24 runs in 25 balls, but scored 150 runs in the next 58 balls.

It is noteworthy that after losing the toss and batting first, South Africa scored a huge score of 416 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. This is the seventh time that South Africa has scored more than 400 runs in this format. Apart from Klaasen, David Miller scored unbeaten 82 runs in 45 balls and Rassie van der Dussen scored 62 runs in 65 balls for South Africa.
