If you want to avoid heart attack or heart disease, then eat at least salt, you will remain young even at the age of 60: Research

Eating too much salt can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke and premature death. Instead of eating less salt, if you eat clean and fresh food, then you and your heart will remain healthy even at the age of 90.

The 'World Health Organisation' has shared a report regarding how much salt i.e. sodium should be consumed. It has been told that the number of deaths is increasing day by day in the whole world, the biggest reason for this is eating a lot of sodium. Sodium is considered one of the most essential nutrients for the body. If it is eaten in excess, then the risk of heart disease, stroke and premature death can increase. For your information, let us tell you that the amount of sodium in salt is very high. That's why the less you eat it, the better it is for the body. 

High bp by eating more salt

According to the news published in 'India Today', Dr. Brajesh Kumar Kunwar, Senior Interventional Cardiologist, Medicover Hospitals, Navi Mumbai, Director and Head of 'Cardiac Science Department' told that eating excessive amount of salt can be a problem of high BP. As a result of which the risk of heart diseases like heart attack and stroke increases.

According to the news published in India Today , Director and Head of 'Cardiac Science Department', Senior Interventional Cardiologist of Medicover Hospitals, Navi Mumbai, Dr. Brajesh Kumar Kunwar told that eating excessive amount of salt can be a problem of high BP. As a result of which the risk of heart diseases like heart attack and stroke increases.

These are the disadvantages of eating too much salt

Eat canned and junk food at least because it contains a lot of salt which can cause high BP problems. Must eat fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in the diet.

Do not use extra salt among family members, so remove salt and salty sauces from the dining table.

Enhance the flavor of your favorite dishes by using herbs, spices, garlic and citrus fruits instead of relying on salt when cooking. One should avoid eating salty snacks like potato chips, french fries and crackers. Packed food should be avoided because it contains a lot of salt. 

The National Heart Brain and Lung Institute has prepared a diet which is good for high blood pressure patients. This diet is called the DASH diet, which is very good for preventing high blood pressure. The diet should be low in sodium, high in magnesium and potassium and a moderate amount of healthy fats (such as butter and ghee). Along with this should be rich in vegetables and legumes, fruits and low fat milk.
