Guns & Gulaabs Review: Weak story in front of strong acting, know every detail before watching

The pair of Raj and DK, who directed cool web series like 'Family Man' and 'Fargie', have once again blown the dust.
'Guns and Roses' is reminiscent of the mafia films of the 70-80s, which used to have explosive tales of the mafia world. Opium smuggling, murder, action and explosion will be seen in the story of the film. After watching the series, you will remember the acting of Amitabh Bachchan to Mithun. Gulshan Devaiah's character is reminiscent of Amitabh Bachchan of 'Deewar'.

How are the rolls?

There are four main characters in this series of seven episodes. Rajkumar Rao is seen in the role of Tipu. Rajkumar Rao's character has been shown killing people. And the other important role is Char Kat Atmaram, played by Gulshan Devaiah. Its name is Char Kat Atmaram because it kills after making four holes. Now coming to the third character, played by Dulquer Salmaan. Dulquer plays Officer Arjun, a policeman. This character is seen engaged in wiping out the opium gang. Lastly is the character of Chhota Ganchi, whose father is an opium mafia and wants his son to do the same. Chhota Ganchi is played by Adarsh Gaurav.

How strong is the acting?
Now coming to the acting of all four. Although all four are amazing actors in their own right, but Rajkumar Rao in the lead role will win your heart. Not only this, Rajkumar Rao has adopted the getup of a mafia very well. Raj Kumar Rao's acting looks quite real. In such a situation, as always, his work is excellent this time too. On the other hand, Gulshan Devaiah's role is as small as it is important. Gulshan leaves such an impression in a total of 8-10 dialogues that applause is definitely made for him. Gulshan's acting is so amazing that you would say that I wish he was seen a little more. If we talk about Dulquer, he is also a seasoned actor and his work is also excellent. He is leaving a positive impression. At the same time, Adarsh Gaurav has also done tremendous acting. The praise of his work is less. He has done full justice to the character of Chhota Ganchi.

TJ Bhanu plays the role of English teacher Chandralekha here. Her image is completely different from the glamorous heroines of Bollywood. His focus has been on acting throughout the series. Satish Kaushik is in the character of the kingpin of the opium mafia. Even though Satish is no longer in this world, but in terms of acting, his coin still runs today. In this series too, his classic acting will win the hearts of the people.

Now let's
talk about the script and cinematography of the series. As powerful as the cinematography is, the story falls a bit weak in front of it. The story has been completely supported by the actors. If the series had bad acting, it might have been less liked. The abundance of abuses is not as much as was seen in Raj and DK's web series 'Farzi'. Still, there are some scenes where your ears will perk up, that is, there are profanity in the series. The direction of the series is also compensating for the shortcomings of the script to a great extent. Overall this series can be seen for all the four lead actors, but yes it is not a family drama.
