Chandrayaan 3 Live: Successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon has been done. The video of the landing has also surfaced. With this, India has joined the list of countries that have hoisted their flag on the moon. Before India, only America, Russia and China have successfully sent their spacecraft to the moon.

However, none of these countries have landed their spacecraft on the South Pole. This is the first time that a country will land its spacecraft on the south pole of the moon. This is the reason why scientists from all over the world are keeping their eyes on Chandrayaan.

The South Pole of the Moon is similar to the South Pole of the Earth;

The South Pole of the Moon is similar to the South Pole of the Earth. It is cold here and sunlight hardly reaches here. Not only this, the temperature decreases even at the south pole of the moon at night. This is the reason why no country has yet done soft landing of spacecraft on this part of the moon.

By which route did Chandrayaan-3 reach the moon?

Tell that Chandrayaan-3 was launched on July 14 this year from the Satish Dhawan Space Research Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. This spacecraft vehicle reached the Earth's orbit through Mark-3. After this, the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) shifted the spacecraft to the lunar orbit through the burn process.

How long will ISRO's moon mission last?

Chandrayaan-3 will work on the moon for 14 days. During this, ISRO scientists will get information about minerals along with searching for water on the moon. Apart from this, they will also study earthquake, heat and lunar soil.
