Tata Altroz ​​CNG Launched: Tata Altroz ​​CNG is the first hatchback car in India to have a sunroof. It will compete with Maruti Baleno CNG and Toyota Glanza CNG.

Tata Motors has launched the Altroz ​​iCNG CNG. The ex-showroom price of the CNG version of the Altroz ​​starts at Rs. 7.55 lakhs. Altroz ​​is India's first CNG powered hatchback car , which will get a sunroof. Apart from this, Tata's dual-cylinder setup for the CNG tank has also debuted with the new car. Tata's new CNG car will challenge Maruti Baleno CNG and Toyota Glanza CNG.

There is not much difference between the petrol and CNG versions of Tata Altroz. Only the iCNG badge will be visible in the CNG version. Tata has placed two 30 liters CNG cylinders under the boot floor to make up for some free boot space. The earlier CNG tank used to occupy a lot of boot space. The Tata Altroz ​​CNG offers 210 liters of boot space, which is 135 liters less than the 345 liters of boot space offered by the Altroz.

Tata Altroz ​​CNG: Features

The Ultroz ​​CNG gets the same features as the petrol Ultroz. There is not much difference in terms of features between both the cars. It gets many features like 7-inch touchscreen, air purifier, wireless charger, automatic headlamps with connectivity of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

However, the biggest change is voice activation. Apart from this, there is a single-pane sunroof, which will be available in XM+ (S), XZ+ (S) and XZ+ O (S) trims.

Tata Altroz ​​CNG: Specifications

The CNG version of Altroz ​​is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine. For power transmission, it will get the facility of 5 speed manual gearbox. The petrol version generates torque of 88hp and 115Nm. On the other hand, the CNG version produces 77hp and 103Nm of torque.

The great feature of Altroz ​​CNG is that this car will start directly on CNG mode.

Tata Altroz ​​CNG: Price and Competition

The starting ex-showroom price of Tata Altroz ​​CNG is Rs 7.55 lakh. This CNG car will come in 6 variants, and the ex-showroom price of its top variant is Rs 10.55 lakh. Its direct competition will be from Baleno CNG and Glanza CNG. The starting price of Altroz ​​CNG is Rs. 80,000 lower than that of Baleno CNG. Same, the base model of Glanza CNG is costlier by Rs 95000.
