Supreme Court News: SC refuses to act on Vice President and Law Minister, Manipur violence and The Kerala story will be heard soon


The Manipur violence case has also reached the Supreme Court. Apart from this, a petition has also been filed in the Supreme Court demanding the lifting of the ban on The Kerala Story.

The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition by the Bombay Lawyers Association. In this petition, action was demanded regarding the comments being made on the collegium system. The association had demanded action against Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Law Minister Kiren Rijiju in this petition.

The Supreme Court dismissed the petition on Monday. It was alleged that both the leaders sitting on the constitutional posts had made statements in the past regarding the collegium system. The petition claimed that the two leaders have publicly lowered the reputation of the Supreme Court by attacking not only the judiciary but also the Constitution.

Strict action was demanded in the petition

With this, strict action was demanded against Jagdeep Dhankhade and Kiren Rijiju. Earlier, the petition on this matter has also been dismissed in the Bombay High Court.

Manipur violence case also reached the Supreme Court

Apart from this, the Manipur violence case has also reached the Supreme Court. The Manipur High Court Bar Association and all other bar associations in the state have moved the Supreme Court. The CJI said that we will list it before the vacation bench next week.

The lawyer said that a matter related to this is coming to the fore. The CJI said that you should be present when the related matter is taken up.

Petition filed to lift ban on The Kerala Story

A new petition has also been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the Kerala story. The Supreme Court has given assurance to hear the petition in the first week of June. In this petition, there has been a demand to remove the ban on the film in many states. The petition has been filed on behalf of Puneet Kaur Bajwa.

Along with this, a demand has also been made in this petition to ensure the safety of the people who came to watch the film and the theaters screening it. The issue of illegal conversion of Hindu girls has also been raised in the petition. There has been a demand that the court should direct the states to take strict action, call for a report from the states about the action taken. West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan have been made parties in the petition.
