Actually, Rani Mukherjee and Parineeti Chopra met on the set of Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss. During this, Rani Mukherjee's manager was not available, due to which Parineeti Chopra was assigned this task. Parineeti was unknown to the film world at that time. But when she met Rani Mukherjee, her luck changed.

Parineeti told that Rani Mukherjee recognized her as Priyanka Chopra's sister and asked why she doesn't become an actress. Parineeti said that she never thought about it. But Rani boosted Parineeti's confidence and said that she would look good if she appeared in films. She can become a good actress. After this Parineeti auditioned and got work in films.
