Instagram's new app will compete with Twitter, this will be the character limit

Instagram Twitter Rival App: Instagram's new app was given to a group of select creators for a few months to use. Currently testing of Twitter's competitor app is going on.

Twitter Alternative Apps: Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, is working on a new social media. This is the new text based app of Instagram, which will be in direct competition with Twitter. According to reports, the testing of the upcoming social media app is going on. The company is doing this testing in collaboration with some celebrities and influencers. Apart from this, a select group of creators have also used this app for a few months. With the new app, Meta will try to compete with Elon Musk's microblogging service company.

Professor Lia Haberman has shared a detailed screenshot of Instagram's upcoming app. Haberman is a Social and Influencer Marketing Instructor at the University of California, UCLA Extension. The new app will be different from Instagram, but the option to link accounts can be found in it.

500 character limit

Looking at the screenshot shared by Haberman, it seems that it will not only compete with Twitter, but will also work with rival apps like Mastodon. In this app, along with uploading photos and videos, there will be a facility to post text in limited characters. This limit can be up to 500 characters. People will be able to easily connect with the audience and their fellow users.

New app will connect to Instagram

Apart from this, this platform will also be able to easily connect with Instagram. This will give an opportunity to run a new social media app with existing followers. Strong features are expected to be given keeping in mind the safety and security of the users. If you have blocked some users on Instagram, then the list of blocked accounts will also be transferred to the new app.

Twitter's challenge will increase

The new app will have to follow the existing Meta's Community Guidelines for Instagram. Apart from Twitter, Meta's new app will have more opportunities to connect with each other. Apart from this, working together with platforms like Mastadon can increase Twitter's challenge even more. With this, a new way of user experience can be seen with different platforms.
