While Gordhanbhai was doing this business from the grocery store, at that time his son Haresh Kathrotiya was pursuing his graduation. After his father's health deteriorated, he had to leave college and take care of his father's tea leaf business.

Started selling tea in the name of Tulsi Tea

After this, in the year 1999, Haresh decided to jump completely into the business of tea leaves. He formed a company named GM Tea Packers Private Limited, which started selling tea leaves under the name of Tulsi Tea brand. Within a short span of time the company became very popular among tea connoisseurs. Haresh had told in an interview that due to the quality of his tea leaves, his reputation was strengthened among the people. After this, Haresh shifted to Amreli in Gujarat in the year 2004 to expand the business.

Business increased 10 times between 2005 and 2010

Haresh set up his own packaging unit to expand the business. By the year 2008, Tulsi tea started being sold in the cities of Gujarat after coming out of the villages. Between 2005 and 2010, the company's business expanded 10 times. After this, Haresh set up a new unit at Bavla Sanand in Ahmedabad district. He continuously focused on increasing his business, as a result of which the business revenue of the company increased from 12 percent to 33 percent. By 2022, the company's revenue has increased to Rs 200 crore.
