All of you must have heard many times about virus attack in mobile, let us tell you that now a new Android virus has come which is named DAAM. This virus is not only affecting the device but also stealing personal data of users such as contacts, call records, camera and history. Let us tell you that the National Cyber Security Agency has given information about this by issuing an advisory.
According to the information given by CERT-In i.e. Indian Computer Emergency Response Team, this virus is so dangerous that even if you have put any anti virus in the phone, it bypasses the anti virus program, that is, this virus can be prevented by anti virus. The virus is also unable to catch it. For the information of people, let us tell you that DAAM virus is working to attack the target device with ransomware.
Explain that the work of this agency is to protect people from online attacks like cyber attack, phishing and hacking. This agency told that this Android virus is being spread through applications downloaded through third party sites and UNKNOWN sources.
As soon as this dangerous virus enters the device, the malware starts the work of bypassing the security and once it passes the security check, the virus starts working like reading the user's data, history, bookmarks and call logs.
In this advisory issued by the government agency, it has also been mentioned that DAAM virus can modify your call recording, camera, contacts, device password, capture screenshots, steal SMS information, download and upload files and your data. Works to be sent to the command and control server.
