Tech giant Apple has recently introduced a new security feature for users to protect their Apple ID accounts keeping in mind the safety of its users. The company has Security Key , a physical device that can authenticate your Apple ID instead of a passcode. This new feature is considered to be the safest way to protect your Apple ID.
With the introduction of iOS 16.3, iPad iOS 16.3, and macOS Ventura 13.2, Apple has introduced support for Security Keys, or physical devices that can verify your Apple ID instead of a passcode. To enable this feature, users have to set it in their device settings. Apple's new feature offers an extra layer of protection.

- For this, first of all do the setting app on your iOS device.
- In the Apple ID section, type your name.
- Then click on Password and Security.
- Click on the security key here.
- Click on the Blue Add Security Key option and follow the instructions shown on the screen.

To sign in to the Apple ID on your device, you need to enter the account password and then use a Security Key to complete the two-factor authentication process.
Once Security Keys are set up, you can use them to sign in with your Apple ID on a new device or on the web, or you can reset your Apple ID password and add additional security keys. Or you can remove them from your account.
