IBM has announced that the company is going to replace jobs on a large scale with Artificial Intelligence .
IBM company's Chief Executive Officer Arvind Krishna told that in the coming time the company is going to stop the hiring of those profiles which think that the work of these profiles should be done with AI bots. Explain that the company's plan is to replace 7800 jobs with AI.
Since the introduction of ChatGPT and many versions of this AI tool, the danger regarding AI is increasing. According to the Bloomberg report, the CEO of the IBM company has also indicated that hiring has also been reduced in the back office such as HR related roles.
There can be a big change in the next five years
Arvind Krishna told in the interview that in the next 5 years, I see 30 percent of the workforce being replaced by automation and AI. 30 percent of the workforce i.e. about 7800 people can lose their jobs. Apart from e-customer service, the AI tool is doing many things like generating code and writing text.
AI will do this work
The CEO of the company says that AI will work like employment verification letter, while HR work like workforce composition evaluation and productivity will be done by people.
