'Maharaja' was drowned, if he wakes up now he will rule not only India but the whole world like this

The days of Air India have started changing as soon as it came into the hands of Tata Group. Once upon a time the expenses of 'Maharaja' were coming out with great difficulty, now he seems ready to dominate the whole world. Let's understand...

'Air India', once considered the identity of India in the world, is ready to do so once again. With the return of Air India to the Tata Group, its days have started changing. The entire focus of the Tata group is on getting Air India back its lost identity and making it a global airline. In this direction, Air India is going to make a big deal with the biggest airlines companies of France and Germany.

In fact, Tata Group has tied up with Lufthansa of Germany and Air France-KLM Airlines of France to buy Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL). Tata group wants that whenever AIESL is auctioned, the maintenance subsidiary company of these two airlines should be a part of that consortium.

Tata Group has already made plans to merge its two airlines Vistara and AirAsia India with Air India. Because of this, Singapore Airlines also has 25.1 percent stake in Air India. Therefore, the engineering subsidiary of Singapore Airlines will also participate in the consortium participating in the auction of AIESL.

Government did not sell AIESL

When the government handed over Air India to the Tata Group in a Rs 18,000 crore deal, its Maintenance Repair and Operation (MRO) subsidiary AIESL was kept out of the deal, that is, it was not sold. It is still a government company. This company mainly repairs the aircrafts of Air India only, so ownership over it is necessary for Air India.

Largest Aircraft Maintenance Company

AIESL is the largest MRO company in the country. It has 6 hangars across the country where maintenance of aircrafts is done. AIESL handled 450 aircraft in the financial year 2021-22. Then it had earned a profit of Rs 840 crore. The government can move forward on the path of its privatization very soon.

The involvement of international airlines companies in this possible deal where they will be helped in increasing their business in India. On the other hand, it will be easy for Air India to avail MRO facility at the global level.

Not only this, the government is in talks with airlines like Air India and Indigo to work towards making India an international hub. If this happens, planes from all over the world will start stopping in India, in which there will be good growth of Air India and AIESL.

Gave world's largest plane order

In the direction of Air India becoming a global leader in the aviation sector, Tata Group has done another major task by ordering new aircraft. The company has ordered a total of 470 aircraft to Boeing and Airbus. The size of this deal is around $70 billion. This is the world's largest aircraft order so far.
