From British PM's wife to LIC, the fire of Infosys reached, such 10,800 crore rupees were lost!


At the end of the December quarter, LIC held 28,13,85,267 shares or 7.71 per cent stake in the IT firm, which was valued at Rs 39,073 crore at Thursday's market closing.

Due to the fall in the shares of Infosys, one of the renowned IT companies not only in the country but also in the world, the country's largest insurance company LIC along with Infosys founder Naranamurthy and his family have suffered heavy losses in a matter of seconds. LIC has more stake in Infosys than Narayan Murthy and his family. Due to the bad figures of Infosys, today the shares of the company have fallen by more than 10 percent. Fat loss to LIC

LIC has suffered the biggest loss due to the fall in Infosys shares. At the end of the December quarter, LIC held 28,13,85,267 shares or 7.71 per cent stake in the IT firm, which was valued at Rs 39,073 crore at Thursday's market closing. After a 10 per cent fall in Infosys on Monday morning, the holding value for LIC dropped by Rs 3,907 crore to Rs 35,166 in a matter of seconds.

How much loss happened to the Murthy family

1. Talking about the loss of the Murthy family, the value of Rohan Murthy's stake in the company was Rs 8,444.47 crore, which has come down by Rs 844 crore to Rs 7,600 crore today.

2. British PM's wife and Narayan Murthy's daughter's stake is 1.07 per cent, which was valued at Rs 5,409.58 crore on Thursday, which decreased by Rs 541 crore to Rs 4,868.66 crore today.

3. Narayana Murthy's wife Sudha N Murthy held 0.95 per cent stake worth Rs 4,797.69 crore, which declined by Rs 480 crore to Rs 4317.96 crore at Thursday's close.

4. Murthy's 0.46 per cent stake in Infosys is now worth Rs 2,080 crore, down Rs 231.12 crore from Thursday's Rs 2,311.41 crore.

SBI MF loss

SBI Mutual Fund lost an estimated Rs 2,239.55 crore on its investment in Infosys. He now holds Infosys shares worth Rs 20,157 crore as against Rs 22,397 crore on Thursday. ICICI Prudential MF has suffered a loss of Rs 1,226.79 crore due to this fall. It has shares of Infosys worth Rs 11,041 crore. Sudha Gopalakrishnan lost Rs 1,324 crore on 9,53,57,000 shares or her 2.61 per cent stake in the company. He now holds Infosys shares worth Rs 11,917 crore as against Rs 13,241 crore in the previous session.
