Groom Bride News: A wedding celebration in Uttar Pradesh turned into a violent massacre after an angry and inebriated groom allegedly killed the bride's 9-year-old brother and fled after a dispute over the quality of sweets at the wedding ceremony. During this, he ran his SUV over three women. According to media reports, in 2020, a wedding was destroyed in Shamshabad area of Farrukhabad. Reportedly, the groom Manoj Kumar, a resident of nearby Atsaini Paharpur village, had brought the baraat to Govindpur Ahdullapur village.

The atmosphere of courtship at the wedding vanished when the groom and his friends questioned the poor food arrangement and started quarreling with the bride's family over sweets. When a relative intervened to resolve the matter, he fired at him with a country-made pistol. Though the bullet did not hit him, amid the commotion, Manoj and his friends grabbed the bride's nine-year-old younger brother, who was offering them water, and fled in their SUV. While they were running, they ran over two women and a girl present at the wedding venue, injuring them severely.

Puneet, elder brother of the deceased, said, "While fleeing, he ran over two women and a teenager with his SUV, causing serious injuries. We called Manoj several times to return with Pranshu, but he refused." .The next morning at 3 am, he left my brother's body and fled the village." According to the FIR, the bride's father said, "Manoj Kumar rammed a speeding SUV into people standing on the road and injured three female relatives. My nine-year-old son was also killed by the groom and his friends."
Kamayganj Circle Officer Rajveer Singh Gaur said, "Preliminary investigation shows that people from both sides were arguing with each other. The groom also ran an SUV over three relatives. The body of the victim has been sent for postmortem." The report will state that the child was run over by a vehicle or was strangled."
