But now the company will recruit 1 thousand people.

These new hirings are being done for A320, B777, B787 and B737 aircraft. Along with this, the company is also going to include 500 more aircraft in its network.
Employees angry with the change in salary structure
Recently on 17th April, Air India has changed its salary structure. This angered thousands of employees and both the Pilot Union and the Indian Commercial Pilots Association have rejected it. Meanwhile, the company has announced new recruitments. The pilots union says that the airline has not held any talks with them before making changes in the salary structure.
