Rapido Bike: Rapido driver molested a woman in Bengaluru on the pretext of checking OTP, after which the woman jumped off the moving bike.
A shocking incident has come to light from Bangalore . Here a woman jumped from a moving Rapido bike . According to the information, the Rapido driver was molesting the woman by snatching her mobile phone. And was taking him on the wrong route. Due to which the woman jumped from the moving bike. According to the report, the Rapido driver had taken the mobile of the woman on the pretext of seeing the OTP from the woman and started teasing her.
After getting the information of the case, the police have arrested the accused, and have started further investigation of the case. On the other hand, DCP Northeast Lakshmi Prasad said that such an incident has come to his notice for the first time. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 354 and 366 (kidnapping).

The driver was taking the woman in the wrong direction
The woman has told in the complaint given to the police that she had booked the bike from Indiranagar on April 21 and the driver asked her for a phone to check OTP and started driving in the wrong direction. After which the woman started making noise. On which the driver did not stop the bike and started molesting, he was taking the woman towards the airport.
Police arrested the accused driver
After which the woman jumped from the moving bike. After this case, all the cab, bike taxi service providers have been called, so that this incident does not happen again in future. At the same time, the accused Deepak has been arrested and sent to judicial custody. According to DCP, there is a dire need for companies to do background verification of their staff at the time of appointment.
