50 years old Arunachal-Assam border dispute resolved with the initiative of Amit Shah, both got equal land

Arunachal-Assam Border Dispute: The border dispute between Arunachal and Assam that has been going on for years after Home Minister Amit Shah has finally ended.

New Delhi. On the initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Arunachal Pradesh and Assam border dispute, which has been going on for years, has finally come to an end. The dispute over 123 villages on the border of the two states was going on for decades. During this, in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah, an agreement has been signed on behalf of both the states. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has attended this meeting.

Let us tell you that there was a dispute between these two states on 123 villages. Out of these 36 villages had already been settled. But still 87 villages were stuck in the disputed category. A decision has also been taken on these 87 villages on Thursday.

According to the information, both the states have been given equal share of land. Please tell that this dispute has been going on for the last 50 years, and the matter is pending in the court as well. But the Union Home Ministry has taken the initiative in this matter, after which it has been settled outside the court.

In this meeting organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Arunachal Pradesh CM Prema Khandu have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

During this, Amit Shah said, an MoU was signed between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh to end the border dispute. This is a huge achievement. He told that this agreement between the two states will create a developed, peaceful and conflict-free Northeast.

On the other hand, CM Sarma of Assam has said after leaving the meeting that this step taken towards both the states will prove to be a foundation stone and this will bring peace and development in the Northeast region.
