Satish Kaushik Passes Away: On the death of veteran actor Satish Kaushik, many celebrities including Hansal Mehta, Soni Razdan, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut expressed condolences on Thursday, calling him a "kind person" and "gentleman soul". told. Kaushik died in Delhi in the early hours of Thursday due to a heart attack. He was 66 years old.

Kaushik's last post on his official Twitter account had shared pictures from the annual Holi celebrations organized by noted lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar in Mumbai on March 7.

Actress Seema Pahwa said she had met the actor two days back and was shocked at the news of his demise. He said, "We will remember your wonderful performance."

Several people from the film world including actor Riteish Deshmukh and filmmaker Rahul Dholakia condoled the demise of Satish Kaushik.

Born in Haryana, Satish Kaushik was an alumnus of the National School of Drama (NSD) and the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). He is known for films like 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron', 'Ram-Lakhan', 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', 'Mr India', 'Deewana Mastana', 'Haseena Maan Jayegi', 'Bharat', 'Chhalaang', 'Udta Punjab'. His roles in the films were widely appreciated.

Kaushik wrote the dialogues for the 1983 film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron and also wrote the story for Kaagaz (2021), starring Pankaj Tripathi.

Kaushik also gained immense popularity as a comedian. He was also a film director. He made his directorial debut with 'Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja'. Kaushik directed several films like 'Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain', 'Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai', 'Badhaai Ho Badhaai', 'Tere Naam' and 'Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai'.

Her upcoming films include 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' and 'Emergency'. He will also be seen in the web series 'Popcon' on the OTT (over the top) platform 'Disney Plus Hotstar'.
