Sameer Khakhar's brother Ganesh spoke to a website and said, “Yesterday morning he was having trouble breathing. We called the doctor and he said that he has to be admitted to the hospital. We took him to the hospital and admitted him in the ICU. Many of his organs had stopped working and he died at 4.30 am today.

Let us tell you that Sameer Khakhar started his acting career in the 80s. He also used to do theater before debut. He stepped into the world of TV in the year 1986 with the serial Nukkad. In this program coming on Doordarshan, his character's name was 'Khopdi'.

Sameer Khakhar also worked in Salman Khan's film Jai Ho in the year 2014. In his career, he worked in serials like Manoranjan, Circus, Shriman Shrimati and Adalat. Apart from this, he was also seen in Sudhir Mishra's Netflix film Serious Men. Not only this, he was also a part of Shahid Kapoor's web series Farzi.

According to reports, he was active in the field of acting in the 90s. After that he moved to America and started working there as a Java coder. However, during the recession in the year 2008, Sameer Khakhar returned to India and again entered the field of acting.
