Delhi Budget: Kejriwal government will present the budget tomorrow, CM said after approval - better late than never

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said in the Vidhansabha that better late than never. The central government would have already given approval, what was the need to create so much fuss?

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party government will present its budget in the Delhi Assembly tomorrow i.e. Wednesday at 11 am. Today i.e. on Tuesday, the Kejriwal government has got approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs. In such a situation, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said in the Vidhan Sabha that better late than never. The central government would have already given approval, what was the need to create so much fuss?

Let us tell you that the budget of the Delhi government was to be presented today i.e. on Tuesday itself, but the central government had banned it. After which the AAP government of Delhi versus the central government started. Delhi's Kejriwal government also fiercely targeted the Lieutenant Governor (LG). Said that the Lieutenant Governor raised objections, but the LG has no right to raise such objections in the constitution. If everything is to be done by the Lieutenant Governor, then what is the House for?

Kejriwal roared on the central government in the House

CM Kejriwal lashed out at the central government in the Vidhansabha for not being allowed to present the budget. Said that a tradition was going on, the Lt. Governor never raised any objection on the budget, did not want us to fight. The officer was sitting with the file since March 17, the minister kept calling, action should be taken against this officer. The minister sent a reply in a hurry, there was nothing in it, there were only 4 observations, the budget was there. We replied, today the budget was approved. It was just a matter of ego, we satisfied, Kejriwal bowed down and we folded hands.
