New Delhi. The Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI ) on Sunday arrested Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy scam case. Earlier, Sisodia was questioned for about 8 hours. During this, a case has been registered against him under sections 120-B and 477-A of IPC. On the basis of this, he has been arrested. Not only this, a case has also been registered against Sisodia under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Please inform that CBI was probing this matter for a long time and earlier also CBI has interrogated Sisodia. But during that time he was not arrested. But this time the CBI has registered many serious cases against him. The sections under which Sisodia has been booked include serious cases like criminal conspiracy and having intention to cheat.

The arrest of the Deputy CM of Delhi has been done on the basis of Section 120-B and Section 477-A of the Indian Penal Court (IPC). In Section 120-B, a case of criminal conspiracy is registered, while under Section 477-A, the serious crime of cheating or cheating is included.
