42 students of a school in Walsall, UK, were stranded in the US due to an alleged hotel mistake. According to the information, the hotel is accused that due to its mistake the passports of the students were torn. Due to which the students had to face a lot of problems. According to a media report, the Barr Beacon School students were on a ski trip to New Hampshire when they were informed that hotel management had destroyed their passports. After which the students became very upset. These students were supposed to go back home on Saturday, but they had to stay here for four more days to get their emergency documents.
The mother of one of these children told that she is troubled by this strange incident, she told that the school administration assured that they will get the children out of trouble. On the condition of anonymity, the mother told that it was really a big shock. She told that this is the first time that she has been away from the family for such a long time. And what they were doing was really challenging.
British High Commissioner made new passports for students
The mother told that the teachers who were managing the trip spoke very well and supported the students during the difficult situation. He said, “My daughter answered our emails and questions throughout the night. School Head Katie Hibbs said she was proud of the staff on the trip to manage the crisis. He told that while the student group was staying at the hotel in New Hampshire, 41 of their passports were destroyed. After this, the British High Commissioner made new passports and the students were released from the hotel.
