75% of the country's population is non-vegetarian, yet lack of protein, this big campaign will be launched soon

75 percent of India's population is non-vegetarian, but despite this, a large population is struggling with protein deficiency. In such a situation, a big awareness campaign will be started very soon to increase the amount of protein in food.

Recently, in the National Family Health Survey of the country, it was revealed that about 75 percent of the country's population is non-vegetarian. While many other studies indicate that almost the same population of the country is suffering from protein deficiency. In such a situation, a big campaign has to be started very soon among Indians regarding the amount of protein in food.

Keeping this in mind, 'Right To Protein' celebrates Protein Day every year on 27 February. The theme of this year's Protein Day is 'Easy Access to Protein for All'.

Sanjay Sethi, executive director of the Plant-Based Food Industry Association, says that due to lack of awareness among people, protein has not always been such an important part of people's diet in India. Therefore, the purpose of this campaign is to provide easy access to protein to the people and motivate them to include plant protein in their diet.

He said that the celebration of Protein Day will increase the understanding among people to include the right amount of protein in their every meal.

Protein deficiency in Indians

International Egg Council President Suresh Chitturi said that according to the recent National Family Health Survey, 75 percent of the country's population is non-vegetarian. But many other studies show that almost the same Indian population is suffering from protein deficiency. That's why this year our aim is to make people understand about the use of protein on Protein Day.

Right To Protein claims that it is India's first initiative to work in this direction. Our aim is to encourage the people of the country to take the right amount of protein.
