Support for the Blind: The Assistant Tech Group of IIT Delhi has developed a new technology to help the visually impaired. One of these are Smartcan, Onboard and Dot Book. With the help of Smartcon, the visually impaired will get better road safety. Apart from this, ultra sonic range will be used in it, which will transmit information about any object to the users.

Braille Laptop for the Blind: During the program organized at IIT Delhi, a dot book has been prepared, which proves to be helpful in explaining the inputs to the users. Also there is an onboard. It is an RF based system. This will help the visually impaired to know the route of the bus.

IIT BHU: This IIT has designed a prosthetic hand, which can work completely. This can prove to be very useful for those who do not have wrists.

The research team of IIT Kharagpur has prepared a covirap, which will make testing successful at a low cost. This device will detect infection with the help of acid-based testing. Initially it was prepared for Kovid testing.

Researchers at IIT Kharagpur have also designed two types of drones, namely Vibhram and Orbit. Surveillance can be done with the help of illusion. Whereas with the help of orbit, goods weighing up to 10 kg can be sent from one place to another.
