Eugene, who hails from France, started a company called Aureal in a two-room apartment. Actually, Oriole is a French language name, which used to be a hairstyle of that era. However, he later changed the name of the company to L'Oreal. Many changes were made in France in the 30s. Started the trend of working five days a week and paid leave for two weeks. As a result, most people started spending time by the sea. L'Oreal saw this as an opportunity and launched sunscreen. He got the benefit of this move of the company.
