Ingredients to make Potato Bread Balls
Potatoes Boiled – 3
Bread Churra – 1 cup
Ginger Paste – 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies – 1-2
Ajwain – 1/4 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Mint - 2 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Bread Slices - 7-8
Oil -
Salt for frying - as per taste
Method of making Potato Bread Balls
To make Potato Bread Balls, first boil the potatoes and peel them off. After this, grate the potatoes in a vessel. Now put grated potatoes in a mixing bowl, add ginger paste, chopped green chilies, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala and mix all the ingredients well. After this, prepare soft pithi by mixing celery, mint and salt as per taste in this mixture.
Now take bread slices and cut their edges. After this, immediately take out the bread slices by dipping them in water and after that squeeze them with hands and squeeze them to remove the excess water. After this prepare balls from the prepared stuffing. And then by placing the balls in the bread slices, wrap the bread well on it and close the edges. Similarly make all the potato bread balls.
Now put oil in a pan and keep it heated on medium flame. Till the oil is getting hot, put the potato bread balls in the bread crumbs and wrap them well and deep fry them one by one in the hot del. Fry them till the color of the balls turns golden. After this take out the potato bread balls in a plate. Similarly deep fry all the balls. Now serve potato bread balls with chutney or sauce.
