Ramesh Semwal, this year Raksha Bandhan festival is going to fall on August 11, 2022, in which Bhadra Dosha remains in the afternoon of Vyapini Purnima. According to the Panchang, on August 11, 2022, there will be Chaturdashi Tithi with sunrise and on this day the full moon date will start from 10:58 in the morning. With which Bhadra will also take place, which will remain till 08:50 pm on this day. Since there is a prohibition in the scriptures to celebrate Shravani festival in Bhadrakal, it will be auspicious to tie Rakhi only after 08:50 in the night.

Bhadra's fault will not take this time

According to Pt. Ramesh Semwal, the residence of Bhadra, which takes place on the day of Rakshabandhan, is not on Earth but on Hades. The Bhadra that occurs on the day of Raksha Bandhan is Vrischika Bhadra. If there is a lot of compulsion due to lack of Sarpini Bhadra, then sisters can tie Rakhi to their brother between 06:08 pm to 08:00 pm.

Right way to tie rakhi to brother

On the day of Rakshabandhan, before tying rakhi to brother, take a bath and place roli, sandalwood, akshat, curd, sweets, pure ghee lamp and rakhi made of thread or silk or cotton according to your brother's zodiac sign. After this, make your brother stand in the east or north direction. After this, apply a tilak to it and tie a Rakshasutra or a Rakhi on the wrist of the right hand. After this, after offering sweets to the brother, pray for his bright future and long life.
