How to worship Hartalika Teej

  1. After taking bath and meditation in the morning, after meditating on Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, take a resolution to observe this fast with law and order. After this worship Shiva and Parvati.
  2. After this, keep chanting the mantras of Lord Shiva throughout the day and after bathing once again in the Pradosh period in the evening, after bathing the idols of Lord Shiva and Parvati made of mud or sand, etc., install them on a post.
  3. After this, first of all worship it by placing a coconut on top of an urn. After this, worship the Kalash and Gaura-Parvati by offering flowers, Shamipatra, Belpatra, Roli, Sandalwood, Molly etc. In worship, offer phulera made of five flowers to Shankar and Parvati and things related to honey to Goddess Parvati.
