Twitter banned more than 43 thousand accounts due to nudity, see the list of allegations

Microblogging site Twitter has released its report for the month of June. The company has issued this report regarding the action taken on complaints in the month of June. The company has taken action on violation of rules on more than 43140 accounts in the month of June alone.

Microblogging site Twitter has released its June report. The company has issued this report regarding the action taken on complaints in the month of June. The company has taken action on violation of rules on more than 43140 accounts in the month of June alone. In this action, the maximum 536 cases were related to abuse and harassment, while 134 cases were related to malicious and hatred.

According to the report, Twitter has removed 40,982 accounts from the social media platform due to sexual violence, nudity and related cases. While 2158 of these accounts were removed due to allegations that they were promoting violence and terrorism. Twitter had received 724 complaints from India. These complaints were received through a local mechanism created by Twitter. Twitter has taken action on the basis of complaints received between 26 May 2022 to 25 June 2022. Twitter has taken action on a total of 122 URLs.

Not a single account has been re-opened

A total of 52 complaints were received by Twitter for ending the account suspension but no action was taken on it. The microblogging site has not acted on any of these complaints and has not opened any account. It has also been told in the report that during this period, Twitter has received 2 requests, both of which were general requests.
