Vaccine can be imported in the country

Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla says that considering the threat of monkeypox in the country, the idea of ​​importing smallpox vaccine is being considered. For this, talks are being held with the Danish company Bavarian Nordic. After signing the contract on the vaccine, it will take two to three months to import the vaccine. He said that at the initial stage, the company can buy vaccines at its own expense, but what to do for more stock. The government will have to take its decision. However, there have been only a few cases of monkeypox so far. In such a situation, it also has to be seen whether this virus increases or its cases decrease in a few months.

Work on the vaccine will have to start
