The doctor said that if the singer had been given CPR as soon as he fainted, his life could have been saved. He said that the singer had heart-related problems for a long time, for which there was no treatment.

The doctor said, 'During the performance on stage, KK was roaming on the stage and was also dancing with the crowd at times, which created excessive excitement and stopped the blood circulation. Due to this his heart beat stopped. Because of this KK fainted and his heart rate stopped. Had he been given CPR immediately, his life could have been saved.

Antacid medicines found with KK

He further told that KK was taking 'antacid', 'Maybe he must have felt pain and he could not understand it. Antacids are drugs that are taken to relieve indigestion and heartburn. A senior Kolkata Police official said that KK's wife has confirmed that the singer is taking 'antacid'. "During the phone conversation with his wife, KK had told that she has pain in her arm and shoulder," the officer said. The police also found several 'antacid' pills from KK's hotel room.
