When he was asked, 'Did he refuse to marry Firoz Khan?' On this, Mutaz told that, 'Then Firoz used to fall in love with an Anglo-Indian girl, but both of them separated after a short time with mutual consent.'
Firoz never proposed Mumtaz for marriage
Mumtaz told in the interview that, 'Firoz never proposed marriage to me. We were just good friends'. The actress further said, 'He loved an Anglo Indian girl very much. But I don't know why they both parted. Then Firoz and I became good friends. He used to share almost everything with me. He never used to share much things with anyone. But I have also seen him crying.
Marrying Firoz was heart breaking
Mumtaz further said, 'Marrying Firoz Khan meant breaking your heart, I didn't want that. If I had married him, our relationship would not have lasted long. Our friendship also gets spoiled. Marrying him was like jumping into a lake. This was the reason why we kept the relationship of friendship.
