How to link Aadhaar-PAN?

The easiest way to link Aadhaar with PAN online is to visit the new Income Tax website. Visit the new After this click on 'Link Aadhar' from the facilities available there. A new page will open. In this, you have to fill PAN, Aadhaar number, your name and mobile number present on Aadhaar. If only year of birth is written in your Aadhaar, then you have to tick this option- 'I have only year of birth in Aadhaar card'.

After this, confirm by ticking the box in front of 'I agree to validate my Aadhaar details'. Then click on 'Link Aadhaar'. After this a confirmation page will open. In this you will see that your Aadhaar number has been successfully generated from PAN.

What will happen if Aadhaar is not linked?
