PM Modi Varanasi Visit: PM Modi said on World Youth Skills Day - Learning should not stop with earnings

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Thursday. During this, while addressing the people of Kashi, PM Modi said that skill development of the new generation of youth is a national need and is a huge foundation of self-reliant India. We have to give impetus to the Skill India mission anew by adding full force to the new institutions that were formed in the last 6 years.

Along with learning, learning is also important: PM

PM Modi said, 'Our ancestors, along with giving importance to skills, made them a part of the gaiety of the society. We do weapon worship on Vijayadashami, on Akshaya Tritiya, farmers worship crops, agricultural machines. Worship of Lord Vishwakarma has been a big festival for the people associated with every craft.
Today it is important that learning should accompany your learning, not stop.

'Today whoever has the skills will grow'

The Prime Minister said, 'Today there is so much demand for skills in the world that the one who has these qualities will grow. This applies to individuals as well as to the country. If education gives us information that what we have to do, then skill teaches us how that work will be done in real form. Skill India Mission is a program to match this truth step by step with this need.

Mapping the Global Skill Gap commendable step- PM

The Prime Minister said that India can provide a smart and skilled man power solution to the world. This should be at the core of the skilling strategy of our youth. In view of this, mapping of the global skill gap is a laudable step.
