Guru Purnima: Worship the Guru with devotion today, if you have not taken initiation, then worship Lord Vishnu

Without Guru, life is directionless. By worshiping the Guru on the day of Guru Purnima and taking his blessings, all the works are successful, but even if there is no Guru, celebrate this festival and worship Lord Vishnu as a Guru.

Today (July 24, Saturday) is Guru Purnima 2021. Adiguru celebrates the full moon day of the month of Ashadh as Guru Purnima, the birth date of Maharshi Ved Vyas. On this day people worship their gurus, respect them and get their blessings. Guru's guidance not only gives right direction to life, but his blessings also make a person successful. Not only this, it is also said that without taking guru initiation, a person's chanting and worship becomes fruitless.

If Guru Diksha is not taken...

Those who have taken Guru Diksha, they worship their Guru on this day, but now the question is, who should worship those who have not taken initiation. For this, it has been said in the Puranas that such people should worship Lord Vishnu as their guru. Lord Vishnu is also worshiped on the full moon day. Apart from this, if no one has been made a guru till now, then the day of Guru Purnima is very suitable for taking initiation. For this, a learned spiritual person should find a guru and take initiation from him, so that he can guide you in good and bad times.

How to do Guru Puja

On the day of Guru Purnima, wake up early in the morning and take a bath. Salute to Lord Vyas ji. Apply tilak to them, garland them. Light a lamp in the house of worship. After this take the blessings of your Guru. If it is not possible to meet the Guru due to the corona epidemic, then worship him at home. For this, apply tilak to his photo. Offer flowers. Do chant the Guru Mantra. Take his blessings. On this day, gifts should also be given to the Guru according to his ability.
