New Delhi: Maharashtra's Vasai Court on Saturday sent arrested television actor Pearl V Puri to 14-day judicial custody. The officers provided this information. Puri, who was arrested late Friday night on charges of molesting and raping a five-year-old girl two years ago, was produced before Vasai Sessions Court judge Aditi Kadam, who remanded Puri to 14-day judicial custody.
Puri is likely to file a bail application, which will be heard in the court on Monday. The 31-year-old 'Naagin 3' actor was booked by the Mira-Bhayander Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate invoking the charges of IPC Sec.
