The World Health Organization has warned

Along with this, World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has also expressed concern about this variant and said that the delta form first identified in India is the highest among all the forms of Kovid-19 identified so far. has been found to be infectious. In a press conference, he cautioned about the reach of the delta form in 85 countries and said that it has reached in 11 countries only in the last two weeks.

Delta variant has been found in 174 districts of 35 states of the country.

Let us tell you that the cases of Delta Plus, which have come up recently, have been reported in 12 states of the country so far. The Delta Plus variant has been found in 49 samples in these states, which was recently declared as a serious variant by the government. Director of National Epidemic Control Center Dr. Sujit Kumar Singh told in the press conference that so far 21,109 samples have got serious variants in the country. Of these, alpha 3969, beta 149, gamma one and delta and kappa variants were found in 16238 samples.

He told that before the second wave of the corona epidemic, the highest alpha variant was being found in February and March, but in May and June, 90 percent of the samples were confirmed with the delta variant. So far 120 mutations of corona have been reported in the country, but out of them there are eight serious variants which are being found in the maximum number of Indian corona infected.

Most patients have been found in Maharashtra

Last year in December 2020, a patient infected with the delta variant was found in one district of the country, after which the delta had reached 54 districts by March 2021, but now it has reached 174 districts. It was first found in Maharashtra.

At the same time, talking about Delta Plus, Maharashtra has the highest number of 20, Tamil Nadu nine, Madhya Pradesh 07, Punjab 02, Gujarat 02, Kerala 03, Andhra Pradesh-Odisha-Rajasthan-Jammu Kashmir and one in Karnataka too. A patient has been found. So far, three patients infected with this variant have died in the country, in which one in Maharashtra, two in Madhya Pradesh have died.
