Billionaire diamond trader Mehul Choksi, who absconded after looting about Rs 13,500 crore from Indian banks, is being targeted by the Indian government. Mehul Choksi has been admitted to a hospital in the Caribbean country of Dominica and is in the process of being extradited to India. Mehul Choksi is a citizen of Antigua and Bermuda, another Caribbean country where he was partying with his girlfriend Babara Zarabika. According to Gaston Brown, the prime minister of Antigua and Bermuda, Choksi flew by yacht to neighboring Dominica to have dinner with his girlfriend or to have a "good time" and was caught there.
After Mehul's capture, his girlfriend Babara Zarabika has also gone missing. According to Caribbean media, Babara Jarabika is a property investment consultant and studied at the London School of Economics. Choksi's lawyers say Mehul has been abducted by Antigua and Indian agencies. He said Babara Jarabika and Mehul Choksi could not be visited as he was abducted while he was on his way to a restaurant. Prosecutors claim Mehul and Babara have been friends for the past year and have been meeting around Antigua and Bermuda.
However, he did not say whether there was a business, friendship or any investment relationship between Mehul and Babara Jarabika. Mehul Choksi's hot girlfriend Babara Jarabika lives a very luxurious life. Her Instagram account reveals that she continues to enjoy the waves of the ocean through luxury yachts. He also posted a picture of himself staying in an expensive hotel in Budapest. So in another picture she is seen sitting in a helicopter. Earlier, Barbuda's Prime Minister Gaston Brown had revealed that Choksi may have gone to neighboring Dominica to have dinner with his girlfriend or to have a "good time".
