Bihar announces Complete lockdown till May 15, Know what will be open and what will be closed


Bihar's CM Nitish Kumar has announced the complete lockdown in the state till May 15. 
During the lockdown, necessary services and associated employees have been allowed to exit. E-pass is compulsory for private vehicles, however it will be necessary for travelers to show tickets. After the Patna High Court rebuke, Nitish government has announced this lockdown.

 What will be open and what will be closed?

1. All the offices of the state government will remain closed.

Only essential services like district administration, police, power department, scavengers, fire brigade, disaster management, telecommunications and post etc. will work. High court guidelines will be followed in the context of courts.

2. All hospitals, hospitals that are under construction, government and private medical stores, medical labs, nursing homes and ambulance services will continue to operate.

3. Commercial and other private establishments will remain closed.

However activities related to banking, insurance, ATM and e-commerce will continue.

9. Restaurants will be closed, only home delivery will be operational.

10. All religious places will be completely closed.

11. All social, political, entertainment, sports related events will be completely banned.

12. Only 50 people are allowed to attend weddings. DJ, Barat, procession are not allowed. Pre-intimation of marriage planning will have to be given in the police station.

13. Maximum 20 people are allowed to attend the funeral.
