London, April 21: People with less sleep now start sleeping longer because if you want to be healthy then sleeping is also important. After research by British scientists, the report published that people who sleep less can become mentally ill and increase their chances of going crazy. The report said that people sleeping less than 6 hours may become mentally deranged.

Sleeping less than 6 hours is dangerous Sleeping less than 6 hours can prove dangerous for people over the age of 50 and can make them crazy. British scientists, after doing research on more than 8 thousand British citizens for 35 years, have concluded that people with less sleep are more likely to go crazy. The scientists who released the research said that for 35 years, 8000 people have been researched and after calculating the data, it has been found that people who sleep less than 6 hours are more at risk of going crazy. However, scientists said that they have failed to find the reason behind it.

Report published in Nature Communication According to the report published in the British Medical Journal Nature Communication on Tuesday, people who sleep less than 6 hours can have the disease named dementia. Dementia is a brain disease in which a patient is disturbed by a variety of mental illnesses. These include alzheimer's, Alzheimer's, lack of ability to speak, irritability, mistake in decision making, personality changes, and many other diseases. Especially people aged 50 years or 60 years, if they sleep less than 6 hours, then the risk of dementia increases significantly. So, British scientists have said that 'whatever your age is, you should definitely sleep for at least 7 hours but if you are more than 50 years of age then sleeping for 6 hours can prove to be dangerous for you. And you may have some symptoms of dementia '

30 percent more risk British scientists have said that the risk of dementia increases by more than 30 per cent among people who sleep less than 6 hours. Apart from this, people who are 50 years old can get less than 6 hours of sleep, then they can also have cardiometabolic disease and mental illness, which is known as dementia.

Research was going on since 1985 The authors of the French National Health Research Institute, INSERM, started researching the subject in 1985 in London, UK. Which included 7959 people from Britain. University of London was also giving its data in this research. During this research, how long the people involved in the research sleep and how long they sleep in deep sleep, it was monitored. During this time, 3900 people were also wearing sleep watch. This research went on for almost 35 years and then scientists came to the conclusion that people sleeping less than 6 hours can become dementia victims.

Dementia is a dangerous disease According to the WHO report, every year, about 10 million people worldwide suffer from dementia and Alzheimer's disease. And it has been reported in the report that due to less sleep, the disease increases further. However, research has not yet been completed on whether young people with less sleep can also become victims of dementia. Scientists have said that during research further, it will be known whether sleeping too much can control dementia disease or not.
