Now even those above 18 years of age can register for vaccination in this way, just follow these steps


In the midst of the growing Corona transition in the country, PM Modi has taken an important decision today at a meeting on Corona. 
Individuals above 18 years of age will also be vaccinated from May 1. Until now, the country used to vaccinate people above the age of 45, but now people above the age of 18 will be vaccinated.

The government announced that the vaccination campaign would be conducted as before. The coronavirus vaccine will be free at all government-run COVID centers, while private hospitals may disclose self-determined costs for the vaccine "transparently".

The corona vaccination phase for people over the age of 18 will begin on May 1. You can register on the Kovid application here.

  • Visit the official website of CoWIN - cowin.gov.in
  • Enter your 10-digit mobile number or Aadhaar number
  • You will get OTP on mobile number, enter in the space provided
  • Once registered, schedule your preferred date and time
  • Get your COVID-19 vaccinated.
  • After this, you will get a reference ID through which you can get your vaccination certificate.

At the time of registration you will need at least one of the following documents

  • aadhar card
  • PAN card
  • Water ID
  • Driving license
  • Health insurance smart card issued by the Ministry of Labor
  • Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment
  • Guarantee Act (MNREGA) Job Card
  • Official identity card issued to MPs / MLAs / MLCs
  • Passbook issued by bank / post office
  • Passport
  • Pension document
  • Service Identity Card issued to employees by Central / State Government / Public Limited Companies

The government said the procurement, eligibility, coronavirus vaccine administration is being made flexible. As per the order, vaccine manufacturers will supply 50 per cent dose of their monthly Central Drugs Laboratory to the Government of India and supply the remaining 50 per cent dose to the State Governments and the open market.
