SBI gave information to customers by tweeting

SBI has tried to ALERT customers by tweeting on its official Twitter handle. For this, the bank has said that customers should not share their personal details, Aadhaar numbers and e-KYC details on any SMS, app or mobile number to activate internet banking facility and debit card facility. Along with this, it has also been said on behalf of the bank that customers should refrain from talking to any particular person for information about any service related to the bank. Customers should come to the bank for information about any service, if this is not possible, then helpline number or website can also be used.

 

Frauds send SMS, link and e-mail

On behalf of the bank, cautioning the customers, it has been said that the frauds send fake e-mail, SMS and link to the customers. On following the instructions given, the money lying in the account of the customers is emptied. Customers should not be misled by such misleading and fake messages. Also, if something like this happens to anyone, then you should immediately inform the bank and local police for this.

Keeping in mind the convenience of customers, toll free numbers have also been issued by SBI. Customers can get any type of information by contacting these numbers. With this, if you have any kind of cyber fraud with you, then you can also complain about it. The numbers issued by SBI are 1800-11-2211, 1800-425-3800 or 080-26599990.
