Do You Know: Why it is considered inauspicious to keep three loaves on a food plate!

Three major deities in Hinduism are believed to be Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, which are called Tridev.
He is said to be the creator of the world, the pioneer and the destroyer. In this context, the score of three should be very auspicious. But in the ritual of worship, in all the customs, the number of three is considered inauspicious. Even three loaves are not kept together in the food plate.

Even if someone does this, the elders of the family refuse it. You would never have seen three loaves coming together in any restaurant. Their number can be one, two, four or more. In such a situation, the question arises why three are considered so inauspicious. Learn about it here.

Three loaves are considered as food of the deceased

In Hinduism, a plate with three loaves is considered to be similar to the food of the deceased, because after the death of someone, the plate of food is taken out before the Trayodashi ceremony, in which there is a practice of putting three loaves together. This plate is dedicated to the deceased and no one other than the one who serves this plate watches. This is the reason why the elders of the household stop keeping three loaves in the plate together. Apart from this, it is also believed that by keeping three loaves of bread together, the feeling of enmity towards others arises in the mind of the eater.

Know the scientific reason too

If we talk about the scientific reason for this, most health experts believe that the normal person should eat little by little throughout the day. In such a situation, one bowl of dal, one bowl of vegetable, 50 grams of rice and two rotis in a plate of food is sufficient for its need. It is considered a balanced diet because a person gets 1200 to 1400 calories of energy from two roti. Eating more than this at a time can give many types of health related problems to a person.
